Community Philanthropy

The Henderson Community Foundation is dedicated to the improvement and long-term viability of our community through charitable donations.

The Henderson Community Foundation encourages people from all walks of life to give back to their community by providing a full range of gift opportunities.  A volunteer committee runs the Henderson Community Foundation making sure designated funds are disbursed correctly and charitable giving is increased for worthy causes and academic scholarships.

The Henderson Community Foundation enhances the quality of life and helps create new opportunities in Henderson by:

  • Supporting and strengthening local nonprofit organizations
  • Providing innovative ways for donors to benefit their community
  • Identifying needs and making scholarships available to local high school graduates
  • Participating in partnerships with other community groups
All contributions to the Henderson Community Foundation are tax-deductible.
